About the role
As a Senior Engineer, he / she should analyzes equipment and conducts experimental tests to establish operating data.Performs engineering duties including manufacturing planning and the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical apparatus to ensure that projects are completed on-time and as per the defined goals.Determines material and equipment needs and orders supplies to ensure sufficient resources for project completion.Develops or performs operational, maintenance, or testing procedures for electronic products, components, equipment, or systems to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strong in Embedded C/C++ ,object oriented software development
Experience on real time OS and non OS based system designs
Experience on 16 / 32 bit micro controllers
Must have experience debugging, troubleshooting embedded systems using emulators, JTAG\BDM debuggers etc
Development experience with various communication protocols like IP,DHCP, RS232 RS485, I2C, SPI, CAN, CanOpen etc.
Able to understand hardware design and schematics
Must have experience with software version control and defect tracking software
Passionate to learn new technologies and tools quickly and work in a highly collaborative team-oriented environment.
Desirable Competencies:
Knowledge on Linux and device drivers.
Knowledge on Free RTOS
Exposure to safety critical embedded systems design for UL Markets
Experience with HPQC and UML is a plus
Data encryption / Crypto communications
Requirements
Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience
Practical knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work
University Degree or equivalent
A minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
