About the role

The Digital Transformation Project Manager is responsible for delivering successful outcomes for key business transformation projects via effective and pragmatic project management. The projects managed by this role will be significant in scale and business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Digital Transformation Program Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement a digital transformation roadmap for the supply chain in alignment with organizational goals.

  • Identify opportunities for digital innovation within the supply chain processes and systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of digital initiatives with broader business strategies.

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage multiple digital transformation projects from conception to completion.

  • Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.

Technology Implementation:

  • Evaluate, select, and implement digital tools and technologies to optimize supply chain operations.

  • Oversee the integration of new technologies with existing systems and processes.

  • Ensure the effective use of data analytics, IoT, AI, and other digital technologies to enhance supply chain visibility and decision-making.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with internal stakeholders, including procurement, logistics, IT, finance, and operations teams, to drive digital initiatives.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and technology partners.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to ensure alignment and support for digital projects.

Change Management:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of digital solutions.

  • Provide training and support to employees on new digital tools and processes.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the supply chain team.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of digital transformation initiatives.

  • Regularly report on project status, performance metrics, and outcomes to senior management.

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for further improvement.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are Digital Transformation Program Manager . If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on digital transformation or technology implementation.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with supply chain technologies such as ERP systems, IoT, AI, and data analytics.

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.

  • Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.

  • Proficiency in digital tools and technologies relevant to supply chain optimization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Change management expertise, with a focus on driving adoption and fostering a culture of innovation.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineeing or MBA in Operations/Supply Chain.

  • Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, CSCP) is preferred.
