Role Responsibilities:

• The candidate will be part of Embedded platforms & working with dynamic cross functional global QA team performing Systems requirements analysis, Designing and implementing tests for our next generation products.Testing embedded platform software based on Linux / RTOS. Hardware, Device Drivers, Board Support Packages (BSP) and Middleware software modules. Individual must have the ability to analyze the system requirements and develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. The selected candidate must have a background in testing Firmware, Connectivity and devices/system interaction and troubleshooting and will be involved in all aspects of the QA process (Analysis, Estimate, Plan, Execute and Release). The selected candidate will interact frequently with project management both locally and global team. Will need to work with customers at global locations across different time-zones.

Role Purpose:

• Manual & automation testing of Embedded SDK

Minimum Requirements:

• Advanced Software Testing Skills with good domain knowledge in industrial products.

• Test strategy, test estimation and planning

• Learn and apply project high-level and detailed business requirements

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for requirements

• Experience of testing complex embedded systems is a must

• Experience with TDD & BDD is a desirable

• Hands on development knowledge of C#, Python or any programming language

• Hands on experience in developing automation scripts for embedded applications on Linux, RTOS

• Create and maintain a reusable and configurable set of automated tests

• Experience in usin CLI interface, shell scripts

• Have a working knowledge of hardware interface, debugging on hardware & use of test equipment’s like multimeter, oscilloscope, function generators

• Review and maintain all project documentation and document test results

• Maintain understanding of current and new testing technologies

• Communicate effectively with constituents at all levels

• Experience in Agile development methodologies preferable.

• Strong experience with automation tools such Jenkins, Maven,

• Working knowledge of Git and TFS, Working knowledge of defect management tools

• Need to demonstrate – Quality, Initiative, Quantity, Dependability and Teamwork

• Knowledge in Python or other high-level language with middle ware experience

• Working experience of CICD pipeline development using known devops tools like Azure Devops, Atlasian tool set
