About this role

As the Plant Manager at Automated Logic Corporation's (ALC) facility in Kennesaw, GA , you will oversee all manufacturing operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of our industry-leading building management solutions while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of success in manufacturing management.

The Plant Manager will work onsite at the ALC facility in Kennesaw .

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the manufacturing team; foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

  • Oversee manufacturing operations, i.e., production scheduling, inventory management, quality control, and maintenance

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies; maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance of manufacturing operations; analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components; maintain relationships to support the needs of the manufacturing process

  • Develop and manage the manufacturing budget with the operations finance team; monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings

  • Work closely with other departments, i.e., engineering, sales, finance, and business unit leadership to ensure alignment of manufacturing activities with overall business objectives

  • Drive a culture of change and continuous improvement by applying lean concepts and tools

  • Plan capacity and investments in equipment and people to support business growth

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing

  • 2+ years of experience in leadership/people management

  • 1+ years of experience in motivating inspire teams to achieve goals or KPIs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering, manufacturing, or business

  • Electronics or building automation industry experience

  • Negotiating skills with major supply agreements

  • Leading cross-functional and multi-organizational teams

  • Understanding of the building of effective supplier and logistics networks

  • Business acumen and financial skills i.e., budget management and financial analysis

  • Process improvement methodologies i.e., Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing operations environment
