About the role

As EMEA Data center Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set processes, deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor / summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

The EMEA Data center Project Manager will work directly with Local Teams and PM clients Teams to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible to ensure the highest quality in the execution to achieve a full satisfaction customer wise, and establish, maintain and strengthen a long-term relationship with EMEA market key accounts.

Responsibilities

  1. Project Coordination and Resource Allocation:
  • Coordinate internal resources and vendors for flawless project execution.

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.

  1. Project Planning and Documentation:
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives with stakeholders.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and documentation to monitor progress and share with clients and staff.

  1. On-time Delivery and Budget Management:
  • Deliver all projects on-time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust constraints based on financial analysis.

  1. Change and Risk Management:
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate techniques.

  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.

  1. Performance Measurement and Reporting:
  • Measure performance with appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Track project performance to analyze successful completion of goals.

  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.

  1. Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management:
  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Meet with clients to clarify project requirements.

  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships.

  1. Task Delegation and Leadership Development:
  • Delegate project tasks based on team members’ strengths and experience.

  • Use and continually develop leadership skills.

  1. Continuous Learning and Other Duties:
  • Attend training and conferences to maintain proficiency.

  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

  • A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.

  • Proven working experience in project management

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
