Role Responsibilities:
Integration of Air-cooled Centrifugal chiller.
Validate product design performance, capability and reliability in the laboratory and field
Thermodynamic based modeling and optimization of chiller system design
Develop chiller system architecture that meets or exceeds the product development requirements
Develop and optimize heat exchanger components in collaboration with heat transfer technology experts
Collaborate with the compression team to seamlessly integrate the compressor design into the chiller design
Collaborate with supply chain to meet product cost target
Collaborate with manufacturing faculties to effectively implement design into production
Role Purpose:
The primary responsibility of the position is the engineering development of Air-cooled Centrifugal chiller system technologies.
The candidate will be primarily responsible to develop solutions that best meet the market needs by integrating multiple technologies in the product. To do this, the engineer must have a strong understanding of the thermodynamics’ of the centrifugal compressor, chiller system, chiller modeling, tube in shell heat transfer, pressure vessel design and compression application.
Will be in a team work for Global Product requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Teamwork skills required with resilience to work under pressure
Familiar with product development processes
Centrifugal chiller experience and UL/ETL experience preferred
Fluent English (both written and spoken)
