About the role:

As Specialist, Electronics you will supporting and leading sourcing strategies for global sourcing activities. This role will be defining your own growth trajectory through successful collaboration with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Specialist,Electronics , you’ll be responsible for:

  • Conduct Supply Chain Network Analysis: Evaluate the existing supply chain network, including risks, manufacturing operations, distribution, warehouses, transportation routes, and inventory levels. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Perform thorough analysis of the existing supply chain network, including supplier relationships, manufacturing capabilities, and cost structures.

  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract insights from supply chain data, such as demand patterns, transportation costs, inventory levels/free cash flow, and lead times. Develop mathematical models and simulations to optimize network design and evaluate various scenarios.

  • Evaluate the feasibility and potential benefits of buy versus make decisions for various products and components within the supply chain.

  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis to determine the financial impact of different sourcing and manufacturing strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, finance, and engineering, to gather relevant data and insights. Including the development of financial models and tools to support decision-making.

  • Lead the execution of change to deliver productivity/Cost reduction.

  • Identify and assess risks associated with different sourcing and manufacturing options.

  • Lead supply chain risk reduction projects.

  • Monitor and track the implementation of recommended strategies, measure their effectiveness, and make adjustments as necessary.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to supply chain network design.

  • Work closely with Commodity Sourcing Teams to ensure partner selection is being optimized to support product requirements.

  • An entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing new, innovative ideas that will stretch the organization and push the boundaries within the industry.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • Overall 10+ Years of experience in sourcing

  • Experience in Electronic Sourcing

  • Preferred experience in Contract Manufacturing

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have

  • MBA is preferred
